The work behind the price
Typically 6 to 10 hours. The install is quick; agreeing the folder template and which models are in scope is what takes the time, and it is the part that matters.
An estimate of the work, not a cap and not a guarantee that any particular problem is solvable inside it.
Every quotation, contract and signed delivery note lives in Odoo’s filestore. The backup takes an hour, the disk keeps filling, and when Finance asks for last March’s supplier contract the only way to get it is through Odoo — even though the company already pays for a document system everybody is signed into.
An attachment saved in Odoo appears in the right SharePoint folder within the hour, findable by people who have never opened Odoo, and there is a log that says where each one went.
Separate from the list above, which is what you supply before it starts. A missing prerequisite stops the work beginning; a missing one of these stalls it halfway, which is the one that turns a fixed price into an argument.

Filestore reclaim, after the fact

Once filing has run cleanly for a month, we turn on deletion of the Odoo copy — only for files Microsoft has confirmed with an item id and a link — and verify a sample before and after. Separate because it means the document then exists in exactly one place, and that should be a decision you make with evidence.
You buy these from the Odoo Apps Store into your own account, so you own them outright and keep them whatever happens to this engagement.
No, and it is worth being blunt about it because most people assume otherwise. Documents go from Odoo into SharePoint. A file edited or moved in SharePoint does not come back, and deleting the Odoo record does not delete the SharePoint copy. If you need genuine bidirectional sync, this is not it, and we would rather tell you now than after you have paid.
Not on its own. Rules apply to attachments created after they are switched on, and reclaiming space from the Odoo copy is a separate decision we price separately — it means the document then exists in exactly one place, which should be a deliberate choice rather than a side effect of an install.
Yes. The module ships a simulated transport that records exactly which files would be sent and where each would land, and sends nothing. We run that first on every engagement anyway.
Nothing that stops people working. Filing is queued and sent by a scheduled job rather than inside the transaction that saved the record, deliberately — otherwise saving an invoice would fail during a Microsoft outage.
