The work behind the price
One to three hours for most of our modules on a standard instance. Where a module needs an external component or a third-party credential — the Avaya listener, an Entra app registration, a Paymob account — its own package covers that properly and this does not.
An estimate of the work, not a cap and not a guarantee that any particular problem is solvable inside it.
The licence is bought and the module is still not on, because installing it means a maintenance window, a compatibility check and an afternoon somebody has not had. A module nobody has switched on is a module nobody is getting value from.
The module is installed, configured for how you actually work, and you have watched its main workflow run on your own data.
Separate from the list above, which is what you supply before it starts. A missing prerequisite stops the work beginning; a missing one of these stalls it halfway, which is the one that turns a fixed price into an argument.
This is work rather than software. Nothing here requires you to buy one of our modules, and if one would genuinely help we will say so and you can decide separately.
Because "one module on one compatible instance" covers most cases and not all. An instance with forty third-party modules, or one where the compatibility check turns something up, is more work — and you hear the revised figure before anything is installed, not after.
No. You buy it from the Odoo Apps Store into your own account, so you own it outright and keep it whatever happens to us. The prices are on each product page.
We find that in the compatibility check, before installing. Identifying it is included; resolving it is separate work, because it means changing somebody else’s module and that is a different kind of job.
We confirm the scope in writing and check the prerequisites above before anybody pays for anything.
